Gastronomic Dinners From Chef At Il Forno Restaurant

The Italian Restaurant Il Forno situated near Hotel Ukraina is launching a series of gastronomic dinners from the Chef of the restaurant Alexey Besedin. Every Friday he will be cooking exclusive courses in the author's service.

It took more than a month to prepare the menu for such dinners. Products were carefully selected and recipes were thoroughly worked out. For example, one of the courses is Taimyr reindeer brisket. It takes a few days to cook it: first, the meat is marinated in first press olive oil with rosemary and oregano, then slightly grilled, stewed in wood stove and served with red bilberry own-made sauce. Another course is Wellington beef: juicy beef sirloin baked in dough. Among seafood the guests may expect turbot, lobsters, the White Sea mussels and many other delicacies quite rare now. All courses will be cooked in the open kitchen in front of your eyes. A perfect wine pair selected by the restaurant sommelier will complement the gastronomic dinner.
